Oval Garnet Earrings

The garnet chips where polished and then suspended in resin. This pair of garnet earrings are on hypo-allergenic ear wires. They are 1" in length and 1/2" wide. The earrings are light weight and comfortable to wear. The garnet is from the Barton Garnet Mine in North River, New York. The black material that maybe found with the garnet chips is hornblende. Garnet naturally occurs in the hornblende. All of the garnet that I use in my jewelry was mined by my husband and me.
